Floor Sanding
Add value with a modern clean look
Beautiful, fresh-looking timber floors add character and clean lines to any interior, giving any room a modern, fresh look. They are far more durable than carpet and are much healthier option for you and your family. Hardwood floors are not only incredibly easy to clean but also carry multiple staining and colour options. The added advantage is that they compliment all types of furniture and colour shades.
Irrespective of the size of your home or of the wood type you choose, our team will take the utmost care to bring out the beauty of a timber floor. Our goal is to give you a quality finish you will be proud to show off.

The Floor Sanding Process
We follow a meticulous procedure to ensure the best quality result for your floor, whether it is hardwood timber, cork flooring, parquet flooring, particle board, plywood, or one of other specialities (contact us for a full list).
Belt Sanding
Belt Sanding
Belt sanding the floor is required to remove old coatings. New flooring also may require belt sanding to get the floor level.
Edging
Edging
Edging the floor is sanding the existing coating off the edges from places that the larger belt sanding machine cannot reach.
Finishing
Finishing
The finishing machine takes up where the first two leave off. It ensures there are no belt sanding or edging marks left on your floor.
Vacuum
Vacuum
Vacuuming between each process removes dust particles from the air and floor, thereby reducing dust in the finished coating.
Floor Coating
The care and attention that we put into sanding and cleaning up your floor are necessary prerequisites for the protection and coating that are the next steps.
We offer a variety of coating options to give your floor that extra something to best compliment the look and feel you are after for your home. We provide a range of samples that can be used to help with the selection process so that the colour and texture matching is perfect right from the start.
Each of our three major applications has its own distinctive advantages depending on where it is to be applied and how much wear it will get. The presence of pets or children in high traffic areas, for instance, will demand a different finish to that applied to less well used spaces. We will consult with you on which finish best balances your personal preference with the practical need.
